Kahili could not rest; she paced back and forth across the branch on all fours. Her claws ad already left massive slashes across the back and her feathers had torn down to the green part of the tree. “Kahili, lovely feathery one come…Sit down and relax.” Dart said for the fifth time and patted the spot next to him. Kahili ignored him and let out a snarling hiss at the nearest leaf.
“You should eat something.” Lemia pressed for what seemed to be the seven-hundredth time and she motioned to the fire.
“No thank you.” Kahili muttered as she paced even more. “Bastard….sneaking son of a…”
